View industriesIf a mate reports an error, you can use the following steps to resolve it:
Check the current mate status using the status icons on the mate nodes.
Choose one of the following methods based on your design intent:
Delete the conflicting mate: If the mate is no longer needed, delete it from the structure tree.
Suppress the conflicting mate: If you are not sure whether to keep the mate, suppress it temporarily. Then check the available degrees of freedom and decide what to do next.
Modify the conflicting mate: If the mate direction, mate type, or selected objects are incorrect, click the mate node and edit it in the Mate function panel.
If a mate should work logically but still cannot be solved, try refreshing the page and check again.
