Dimensional constraints

The dimensional constraint function is a tool for fully defining the geometric features of a sketch. Through precise dimensioning, it provides a standardized basis for subsequent 3D modeling and engineering collaboration. Users can define new dimensions, modify existing dimensions or delete them. Dimensioning can be applied to the following elements or between elements:

• Sketch geometric elements, including construction lines.

• Between a reference axis and other elements.

• External elements of the sketch (e.g., solid edges, external sketches, etc.).
