View industriesThe Distance mate defines a specified distance between two mate objects. It is used to control the spacing between components in an assembly.
Press M or click the "New Mate" icon to enter mate mode.
Create a mate:
Select a pair of mate objects in the graphics area.
Select "Distance" in the Mate menu, then enter a distance value.
(Optional) Click the Dimension Reverse button to reverse the offset direction.
(Optional) Click the Filp button to reverse the alignment direction of the mating faces.
Press Esc or click the "New Mate" icon again to exit mate mode.
Step 1 - Press M or click the "New Mate" icon:
Step 2 - Select a pair of mate objects in the graphics area:
Step 3 - Select "Distance" in the Mate menu, enter a value:
Step 4 - (Optional) Click the Dimension Reverse button to reverse the offset direction:
When editing the mate, you can modify and preview the mate objects, direction, and distance value.
