Tangent

The Tangent mate makes two mate objects touch tangentially. It is commonly used between curved faces, or between a curved face and a planar face.

Steps

1. Press M or click the "New Mate" icon to enter mate mode.

2. Create a mate:

   1. Select a pair of mate objects in the graphics area.

   2. Select "Tangent" in the Mate menu. The two objects become tangent automatically.

   3. (Optional) Click the Filp button to reverse the alignment direction of the mating faces.

3. Press Esc or click the "New Mate" icon again to exit mate mode.
