Extend

The Extend tool lengthens sketch geometry until it reaches another element or boundary. It is commonly used for ensuring precise intersection of elements and can quickly complete graphic structures.

Steps

1. Hover over the "Trim" icon in the toolbar.

2. Select "Extend" to enter the extend mode.

3. Select the geometry to extend.

4. Select the target boundary or target position.

   1. Continue extending additional geometry if needed.

5. Right-click or press Esc to exit.

• Extending to existing geometry automatically creates associative constraints.
