Steps
Hover over the "Trim" icon in the toolbar.
Select "Split" to enter the split editing mode.
Click a position on sketch geometry to insert a split point.
Continue clicking to create additional split points if needed.
Right-click or press Esc to exit.

Notes
Closed geometry such as circles requires two split points to complete the first split operation.
